Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Description

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle massage technique in a specific sequence used to move lymph fluid through it's natural pathways, from a congested area (swollen area) to areas of the body where fluid can drain normally. It is beneficial following surgery, acute injury, lymphedema, sinus congestion, or chronic headaches. This type of massage is performed by an ACOLS certified lymphedema therapist who has completed over 135 hours of training.
